Even my 335D has gone from 600 to 900 this year. I suspect a lot of it is down to parts supply issues (and prices) and longer time in hire cars and people trying it on more. Then you throw in the well known nickability of the later models and I can see why things are jumping massively. It's frustrating as the companies do also seem to be going for -taking levels of profiteering! |

Go back to them and say too expensive and watch them keep dropping the price, they did it for me, i didnt use them in the end, but they went from 6k to 2k that was for multiple vehicles though. |

My L322 was about £370 back in January. Thought I’d get a quote for an L405… think I put in a 2016/17 4.4 AB…. £1392 cheapest 😱.

So as a family we’ve be fretting about car insurance for a few months. My daughter ( BMW 116i ) just saved over £200 by following Martin Lewis MSE advice to get quotes around 23 days prior to renewal. My Son ( Jag XK 4.2 ) is getting quotes that are £ 250-£300 cheaper than his renewal. My renewal ( Vogue TDV8 4.4 ) is not due until April next year but I’m sure based on their experiences that MSE is going to save me few a £.
