United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Carpathian Grey
Spec from VIN

Morning all, new member here and dipped back into Range Rover ownership with a 2018 L405 yesterday. I’ve had previous Range Rovers (3 x L322’s) but struggling to find the actual build spec of the car I bought. I’m sure there used to be a way you could enter the VIN on sites and it gave you all the info but it doesn’t seem to work on the newer Range Rovers. Any advice gratefully received !

In exactly the same position as you, VinDecoders doesn't work Carvertical shows only the LR history and the previous LRAdvice email address also bounces back,

Keen to know if anyone has any other routes,

I tried Land Rover Customer Service direct on their web chat, but they said they have to prove ownership- they wanted a photo of the V5 in my name, plus passport photo showing my address- for a build spec! I get data protection but I’m not sure how build spec would reveal any previous personal information unless the report details everything including costs and financial info?

Have you tried asking the parts department?
