2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Loire Blue

Thanks for the info, will make a new thread next time.

Yes I’m talking about the roll bar bushes, my car is a 2016 Vogue SE SDV8 in Loire Blue, bought last week. I ordered all 4 bushes this morning, and Lemforder front control arms as the ball joints looked shot - no perceived symptoms though. Do you know if a large pickle fork will do the job for getting the ball joints loose or will I need the special tool?

On a side note I must say the V8 diesel matches the car very well. I’m glad I didn’t get the TDV6, though the number of them for sale which needed or already had new engines put me right off. 2016 LOIRE BLUE SDV8

England 2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Sometimes they just drop out when you undo the large nut, other times you will need a ball joint splitter as they are tight. If your changing the arm anyway and have access to an air chisel you can beat them out from the bottom as it doesn’t matter if you damage the thread, but don’t beat the suspension leg with a hammer or the air chisel as its aluminium and easily damages. Also be careful as the arm comes out past the CV boot as its a tight squeeze and can split the boot, same fitting the new one. Thumbs Up
