A few days ago I noticed my drivers side front LED sidelamps were flickering a bit. Now they are not working at all. Headlamps (dipped/beam) are OK and all the other sidelights are fine.

There's nothing on the dash to say that there's an issue with bulbs or such like and no warning messages with a yellow triangle either (which surprised me)!

I've pulled the electrical plug at the back of the lamp unit, inspected it and pushed it back into place. Had a squint inside the lamp unit by removing the two round caps on the back, but didn't see anything untoward there either.

Can anyone offer any wisdom here? Is there a fuse just for the right sidelights?  The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Ya reckon there’s a small possibility that it may just be the bulb
Maybe swap it for the other side just to rule it out? 2016 4.4 diesel

I think you will find they are non serviceable LED's you have to change the whole light unit...

I expect you could take it apart somehow and find a similar LED to go in there but not a straightforward job.... Pete

unusual for these led lights to fail...i would double check the connectors and the wiring around the light unit.. ... - .- -.

Was told today that sidelights are part of the MoT, so this is now becoming a priority. Can't believe I'm the only person to have suffered an LED failure in the last decade. It's not just one of the LED's, it's all of them in the headlamp unit. Also find it odd that, with all the electronic gizmo's in the late L322's, there's nothing on the display to say there's a bulb failure.  The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I take it you have tried the usual fuses... there can be more than one in a system... Pete

Yes, fuses are fine.

Just to clarify what's not working - it's all the white LED sidelights. The orange LED indicator lamps are fine.

Been doing some digging on-line and there appears to be an LED control module on the back of the headlamp assembly. Perhaps it's time to investigate this unit..... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

The plot thickens.....

I dismantled the front a bit earlier today and with a 'slight modification' to the headlamps, I finally managed to remove them and swap them over to see if the fault was intrinsic to the lamp unit. (It appears that the front bumper needs to be removed to get at the fourth mounting bolt. I didn't do that..... )

Posting an update here in case anyone in future suffers the same issue.

Today I dismantled the front of the car, pulled everything out of both footwells to access the wiring looms/fuse-box and even took the drivers headlamp switch apart down to PCB level. Despite this, I still couldn't trace the o/s/f sidelamp wire! It was giving me 2.6v instead of 12v and I'm putting this down to being the signal for lamp checking.
