My mates dad's is a '53' with loads of toys and that was £6500 I think, it even has sensible miles, (80k I think)

So much car for the money. 2006 Mercedes CLS

The 320 CDI is a great engine for economy, I left Fort William one evening last summer heading back to Glasgow and reset the OBC. 13 miles out of Fort William I checked and this is what my fuel consumption was

15 miles into the journey was even more impressive

78 miles after leaving Fort William and I was still amazed

Sadly a full 60 minute and 12 miles of stop starting in a traffic jam on Loch Lomond side killed that and I hobbled home to a very respectable 46mpg

All in all not too bad for an old diesel burner.

A few more pictures taken on the day.

Ready to leave

No unreasonable offer refused, I could do with having this gone by next month as I have to start paying the Merc off Laughing

Anyone with offers don't hesitate to contact.

Also, I have put my plate on retention this morning so will have the logbook back in about 7 working days if not sooner and the car will be back on the original plates.

Thanks. 2006 Mercedes CLS

RR is back on the original plates, log book should be here any day now, I have the car back on eBay, due to end Sat morning, it will go to the highest bidder, no reserve.

If you're in the market for a genuinely clean and sound RR, please put a bid in.

I was getting stupid part ex valuations off dealers that were nowhere near what the car is worth, one guy offered £7k and proceeded to go onto Autotrader and pull up high mile se and hse RR's to try and claim my vogue with full history and extras was only worth the same as those. So I figured I'd get a more realistic price for it if I sold it private. 2006 Mercedes CLS
