Whether you get 1.10 or 1.12, it makes little difference when your paying the best part of €6 for a pint of beer Shocked

Get use to the dry butt stretching, as it's not going to stop until your back at work.

Enjoy your holiday Dom Thumbs Up

Yeah, cheers for that Justin Big Cry Big Cry

Considering the Euro is supposedly down the tubes, how come we're about 30 cents short of where it should be ??

Just sent an email round work offering to buy up the odd ones people have lying around - up to about 120 quids worth already Bow down (department of international travellers)

Went down my local post office earlier (the reason I started looking in anger) and the miserable place offered me 1.05:1 for 600 quid changed. Thieves. Phoned my bank where I'm supposedly a valued "Premier" customer and got 1.07. FFS !!!

Current market trading at €1.16.46 to the pound. So banks are taking about 8% then. Greedy F..ers.

I use the FairFX currency card for my main spending..

Load it up with a better rate and use it like a master card.

Having said that, it was 1.14 on Monday, now it's 1.12 Sad

I'd go with the FairFX card - we've been using it a week now in Europe with no probs. But most importantly, you don't get charged to use it unlike a credit card . . . . Rolling Eyes Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
