Are the rear seats in the forward / upright position ? If reclined they can hold the shelf in place. |

I had to move the seat right forward to let the side panel come free. First time FFRR owner |

It takes a hell of a tug, more than you think.....!! Use the vents in the top of it that are in the recessed part, you can get your fingers through the vents to be able to pull it hard enough Pete
