So after researching and trawling the bay of E, I purchased and collected a tow bar at a bargain price!

I thought that style was for the pre-2006 model so discounted them when looking. But yes, it does drop whereas mine does not. Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

Pretty sure the towbar armature fitting is the same for all L322’s from 2002-2012.

Had a quick look and it seems they’ve stopped selling them for the L322, maybe worth a call though. Jonathan 2007 Defender 90 XS Hardtop |

Will need replacement electrical connections as that has the earlier type with a white interface box. On the later generation there's a single grey connector behind the spare wheel on the UK nearside and no additional module required. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica. That’s what I understood, with some exhaust hanger differences…
The towbar was from an L322 and is a Westfalia tow bar. Hence thinking I was safe! I spotted that too. If still there when I’m paid I’ll have it… although at that price I doubt it’ll be there long. I thought I'd got a bargain at £320 until it arrived and I could see that it had been cut off at the front, see pics. Hoping that ebay will ensure I get my money back? But carriage was £120, so thinking I may have been taken for a ride. |
