Much better than the dogs triggering the gesture tailgate when open at a shoot... |

If you leave your car unlocked, yeah, but otherwise, wouldn't the dog need to be holding the keyfob for that to happen? |

I can’t get this to work, is the ignition on or off? Are you sure it’s the right hand side of the steering wheel? |

Ignition off. I tried both sides and the RHS next to the dash/wheel worked for me. Literally touching the dash.

And how do you know when it's worked, you can't unlock the car by pressing the button on the door handle to unlock it with the key in your pocket? |

Yes that’s correct sir… Approaching the car with the key in your pocket, it won’t unlock when you pull the handle. Or lock when you touch the lock button on the handle… 👍 |

I just tried this and it worked first time. Key held on dash on right side of steering wheel, almost touching steering column and an inch below the screen.

What is the difference in disabling keyless entry this way versus doing it through the screen menus?

I don’t think the screen menu option was available when I took delivery of a MY23 earlier this year.

Just tested the Powered gesture tailgate when the vehicle was locked and with the keyfob in my pocket. And it worked just fine - tailgate opened without the doors being unlocked! Personally I think that is a usable feature. |

I thought the 460 was different to the 405 and you didn't have to worry about the unlocking as you can't capture the key code and retransmit it to open the car... And no need for a faraday pouch either....
