Will 275/45/R20 all terrains work?

Hi all,

Just doing a bit of forward planning for when the L322 is bought.

Would appear VSE / WESTMINSTER / AB pretty much all have 255/55/R20 tyres.

I want GG AT3………OR similar……..

Seems as they don’t do above size (in the UK anyway).

Quick google search suggests 275/45/R20 might be available.

Any thoughts?

As you want AT tyres I presume you will be doing some off-road driving. Get tyres with the highest and strongest sidewall possible, 45 profile will not give you the best footprint when tyres are deflated for offroad driving. I run 275 55 R20

275/45/20 AT work perfectly - I ran General Grabbers AT’s in that size on 2 of my 322’s - very capable tyre and near enough the correct rolling radius. Absolutely no rubbing issues on std wheels. The tyre sidewall is virtually the same as the std 255’s as the 275’s are wider and sidewall depth is a % of the width.

For what it’s worth I now run 285/50/20 in the winter on the L405 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Thanks for the reply. My off roading will be limited to campsites and low key trails while touring GB. Nothing serious at all. But just like AT tyres on such a car. Steve

As an option, You may want to consider the Cooper AT3’s they are noticeably quieter than the Generals… 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
