I can confirm with the Ghost 2, that I now cant use the cabin pre-heat with engine start etc from the IC app.

Your profile says you have an AB, so you would use the remote to pre-heat the car (or set a time in the infotainment) which doesn’t start the engine, so I can’t see it being an issue with an immobiliser. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

You can get a remote for the pre-heater, I would.

There's a great video on YT re Ghost2 - check out SASMobile. They've done a SVR where it locks out the gearbox rather than the engine so the remote start still works. |

I forgot about the timed climate function on the internal screens, that may be my solution especially if I can get it to operate off a remote. How can I tell if mine is compatible with a remote? Buy one and try it o can I find out of a spec sheet/look of built in kit? First time FFRR owner |

Ask your dealer to check? I did and they ordered in two & programmed them for less than £50... |
