I never really had much to do with the incontrol stuff, bar software or hardware issues, I do remember something about the SIM having to be registered to your account, it was a good few years ago though, might be worth contacting incontrol support through the LR website.

I used

lradvice@jaguarlandrover.com

who reached out to the Incontrol team, send screen prints etc they diagnosed from screen prints that I need a VSS update (Vehicle shared secrets) dealer booked in end of month. It should cure the issue I have of signing into "vehicle here navigation system" and failure of the recent infotainment update. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Well if its been initialised in a phone, then it should work OK. Can you see any DTC's set?

I plugged in the Autel today and cleared the codes that were in and went for a drive but got diverted when I got back in and forgot to look for any reappearing codes. Will looking the morning

Kot, it went in with the notch uppermost and the contacts facing the front of the car (which seems to best replicate the picture on the sim interface)

I'll email that address now and see if they cab assist.

Cheers folks, hopefully get there soon... First time FFRR owner
