Correct. Bow down

And thank you to everyone for suggesting the IID. Slight paranoia that I could, using the GAP tool, have the L322 turn into an undriveable beast..

So read the whole pdf guide and upgraded the GAP software itself. Then the embarrassment of being unable to locate the ODB port… Anyway, once activated, it all connected. First thing to do was take a backup of the RR’s“config”…

I am in Liverpool for 2-days now so have to wait for the w/end before delving deeper into those settings…
I checked the Wiki and really hope I can add the MPH readout. But like my boss told me years ago. Backup everything before changing anything Whistle Current: L322 2011 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE, MB GLB AMG35, Renault Clio R200 Cup

Make sure battery is in fully charged state as the CCF update takes a hit on it. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

***Thank you DrRob & Superspoons***
(back from Liverpool and what a lovely city)
I have CTEK connected. Thumbs Up
-Battery is “standard” none-AGM model. And from the picture seems OK after being charged. Previous owner explained the battery charger had become disconnected and the battery was totally drained as the RR was no longer used much. I’ll order an AGM VARTA or similar as they seem to work well. From forum searches it seems that this can leave errors present.
-WhenI took a peek using the CTEK there were indeed faults recorded. But everything works as it should.
I shall re-read the IID tool manual and see if they can be cleared.
-I spoke to our specialist. As RR will be with them next week for full health check and any remedial work. So will report back.

p.s. Bodsy confirmed early March date for his mega flush. Will take pictures and report back on this too..

***Update: 12/02/2023***
-GAP IID Tool: What a great piece of kit. Plugged it in and I saved the readings. Then ran a Fault diagnosis as the battery had gone flat when the previous owners CTEK was accidentally disconnected. Forum members have posted that many faults are shown after this happens. And it is definitely true for this LR322…
-Health check carried out. Thankfully the car is pretty healthy. Recommended that pulley’s and belts are all replaced. Some consumables such as wipers etc will also be done.
-Gave her a good clean today. Car was left unlocked and interior lights and some ancillaries were on. Battery went pretty flat. Guess what - some fault(s) reappeared. Another job for the GAP IID. CTEK reconnected and all is well. This was a test as new AGM battery will be fitted as part of service.
- Next week is a big one as Major service, pulleys and belts plus other work. Some of the work does not have to happen now. But keen to keep her in tiptop condition so a fair amount of preventative maintenance.

I’ll report back once the work is complete and bank account has recovered Laughing

ps. Bodsy booked in for 1st week of March too. Current: L322 2011 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE, MB GLB AMG35, Renault Clio R200 Cup

Hi DrRob. All work is being carried out by Mark Smith LR in Bicester. They are a decent specialist and local. And much lower Labour rates than LR themselves.
Expect full report when car is back. Thumbs Up Current: L322 2011 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE, MB GLB AMG35, Renault Clio R200 Cup

Nice. Is it a lot quieter now on the front end? I had to have the whole of LR022810 (bracket and integral bearing) replaced and not just the idler LR024791 to eliminate all my squeaks. There is a bearing (as part of the bracket) that LR022814 bolts to that was completely shot. You could wiggle it and feel it was shot to Censored . I'm sure they will have checked that. I think it's rare.
Enjoy your day with Bodsy! He was here 2 weeks ago with me. Top bloke. Like coffee and a bacon/sausage sarnie Thumbs Up
Get the diffs changed too with Bodsy. We had one here that had f all oil in the front one Shocked Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
