Weak battery and terrain response

My wifes 2014 SC, which she doesn't drive that much each day to work and back, is now not letting you change the Special Selections (Terrain Response) knob. I tried charging the battery last night as I heard that might be a remedy, but I charged it under the bonnet and not the main terminals on the battery under the spare tyre and there was no change this am? Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance!

You can try disconnecting the battery, give it a full charge then reinstall it, that is the only reset you can do without using a diagnostic tool which is your next action if the disconnect doesn't work... Thumbs Up Pete

I tried disconnecting the battery, then charging it, then hooking it back up but it did not change the unresponsive "terrain response" knob.

I had the same issue with the rotary gear knob - total lockout - it was the battery goosed - bought a new Halfords battery and issue immediately solved 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
