Front air springs, anyone used these guys?

Been hunting around for new front air springs as my Fattie has got the 'front end kneeling' syndrome, caused by a slow leak in one of the bags.
Normally use Island 4x4 for all my stuff and can get new OEM air springs (LH and RH Spring repair bags) for £300.00 all-in.
Doing a quick search I found these guys offering unbranded but OE Quality LH & RH air springs on Fleabay:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193878772192?mk...uOm1eeFQ86
They seem to have good feedback and would save £120.00 on the OEM ones from Island 4x4.

So, the question is has anybody bought stuff from them, as they do a lot of air springs, compressors, etc., and their prices seem a whole lot lower than some of the more 'established' sellers. Any feedback or thoughts would be appreciated, before I decide which route to go down (wallet says 'Mainline Automotive' but brain says 'Island 4x4').

yes, we have had 2 purchases from them, both older L322's, a 2004 and 2007

and a mechanic friend of mine has had about 30 of these repair kits over many years, it was he that put me onto them, he says he has no problem with using these for his clients that have had enough of paying thru the nose for JLR parts in the last few years, only for the bags to split again eventually down the road Sad

I have just fitted an identical looking bag to mine, went fairly straightforward I gently inflated it to seat the base and get the locking washer on.

Make sure you have a 12mm spanner to hand for the air fitting as you remove the strut.

Is both sides of yours dropping, even though its only one bag with the split?

Hi, yes both sides at the front drop evenly. Leak is slight at the moment so it only loses air overnight. Sometimes the drop is quite noticeable, sometimes drop is only slight. Am just holding off getting new air springs till the air loss is a bit more rapid. I haven't had a chance yet to confirm which air spring is leaking at the front, but it's always best practice to replace them as a pair, i.e. both front springs or both rear springs.

Ah, thank you. I'd assumed that it dropping evenly meant it wasn't a leak on one side.

Mine is doing exactly as yours - dropping overnight, only at the front.

Looks like it's new struts for me, then!

You can also do the spray test on the air springs, as per Tinman's comment on your other thread. Raise the vehicle to off-road height and spray each airspring with soapy water. Look for air bubbles forming and this will indicate that the spring has a leak. Haven't done that test on mine yet, as waiting till the leak gets more pronounced.

Yeah, I did exactly that today. Couldn't see anything, unfortunately, but then again it is only the front 3/4 you can see, though thought it worth a go.
The leak is slow, though. Greater than 24 hours for it to properly go down
