Just had a similar issue. Fault was diagnosed to a loose connection at the antenna located in the roof of the cabin. Headliner had to be dropped to get at it. Took dealer 3 days to find fault and repair. Completed under warranty. |

Was your issue with both keys though? This only happens with one of them to mine Discovery 4 HSE

Issue started off with one key then quickly moved to both. Dealers first attempt was to reprogram the keys and that worked for about 20 mins. It was only first start up in the morning that neither key would be recognised by the car at all and had to be held against the steering column to start. Restarts after that in the same day mostly worked ok if the car had ran for 10-15 mins or more, then next morning back to holding it against the column. At no time during this behaviour though did the keyless lock/unlock ever work. |

Did it lock (pressing the dent in the handles) as it should but not unlock when you grabbed the door handles? Could you open the trunk keyless and start? |
