Where do you stop with preventative maintenance on a car with 110k miles that's 12 years old? You could replace everything for peace of mind or take the don't fix what isn't broken approach. I treat mine as a 'running repair' otherwise it would be a black hole of money. Rears are easy enough to replace so why not just save the money for when something does need fixing. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I occasionally raise the suspension to full height and brush out all the dirt and give it a good visual. |

My rear air bags are still original after 275 000 km and 16 years of use.

I was ;looking at mine as I do lots of preventative maintenance and they look ok at nearly 16 years and 230k+ miles and I know they are originals as last 12 years I have owned it - so yours probably have a while to go |

One of my fronts burst so I changed the front shocks and bags. Just after I’d ordered them I decided I might as well replace the original rear shockers at the same time and then decided to do the bags as well.
