That time of year and the FBH decides to play up!

Hi all

I have searched the forum for an answer and I think I know the issue but I thought Id ask just to be sure,

So I have the 2012 4.4tdv8 and the FBH is fitted with the remote and all was working fine.

Now if I try to start the FBH on its own (either with remote or via the menu) the FBH starts but then stops almost straight away.
If I start the engine the FBH starts on its own and runs ok (this will be to aid warming of the engine)

So my FBH is working but something is stopping it when I just want to use it to heat the cabin.

From looking on here my feeling is that I should replace the single divertor valve on the drivers side wing, as the heating in the car works ok when the engine is running I am assuming that the twin divertor valve on the passenger wing is ok.
I am also assuming that the FBH coolant pump is working as the FBH will run ok when the engine is on.

What are your thoughts, should I replace the single divertor valve?

many thanks in advance 2012 TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue

A low battery will stop it from running at all but once started it may stop if the battery drops below a certain voltage. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
