New TC now stuck in nuetral

After replacing my TC with a new unit , went to do gearbox fill procedure but car crunches into park and says select nuetral on dash ! I haven't touched anything, only disassembled and rebuilt , ive placed the TB motor in the correct position but still getting the crunch into park wtf is going on ?? There were no faults before doing the work

Have you tried a Fuse 37 reset, to calibrate the shift motor?

If the vehicle wonโ€™t drive forwards or backwards by the time you get to step 16 on the list then this isnโ€™t your issue.

Just to clarify, the vehicle in question is the one in your signature (2002 3.0l TD6)?

Are all of the driveshaft splines fully engaged? The driveline disconnection could be downstream of the transfer box. If that were the case, you would see one of the propshafts turning with the vehicle stationary in gear.
