Any chance of a pic of your new grille? I'm itching to upgrade mine as I don't like the full silver look[/quote]

Take a look at my other post regarding LED Lightbar installation. It includes a picture of the new grille.

This is perfect - I'll get one. Bow down

Any hints on what to search for so I get the same one (as that looks decent quality)? I've never used AliExpress! FFRR SDV8 Autobiography

@ James W:

Embarassed

Sorry I forgot I ordered two, the Ali one turned out to be MY2019-21, but was identical quality to this one from eBay (which is the correct <2017 one):

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302375261153?mk...media=COPY

The Ali one is now about £175 with shipping Shocked

Good luck, there are no instructions, just look at the YouTube vid from PowerfulUK. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

This is the all black grille I purchased from Aliexpress.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002637...f19cZyKzKr

About CAD$250.00 landed.
Delivery time was about 3 weeks.
The the protective packaging was amazing. It arrived in perfect condition.

Hmmmmm, the powerful one is just plain all black without the silver highlights, and low-res pictures are always suspicious in my estimation. Anyone here got this one and pleased with the quality/got better pics?

I have to say both the AliExpress one and the eBay one were great finish, although not the same weight as the OEM LR product, which is about twice the weight.

Of course, it all comes from PRC these days……….. Neutral “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

the range rover badge isnt strait [horizontal]

mine is Mr. Green

Ah, but should it be? Or should the text line up with the grille pattern? Mine does, and therefore follows the aesthetic lines of the grille, which are curved! Whistle

the 2018+ grilles are flat .... 2012-2017 grilles are curved so when the chinese copied the 2018+ grilles the badge became slanted and not horizontal.

my ocd says the badge should be level but if you're happy with a slanted badge thats fine.. Thumbs Up ... - .- -.

I agree with you, Stan. I'd want it level too. A slanted badge would make my teeth itch. I'd imagine that'd cause returns.

I'm itching for China to open up again properly and for the trade fairs to fire up again. I'd like to dabble in more car parts than I do. Stuff like grilles is a good line if you can find a good manufacturer and deal direct, which you can at the fairs. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black

I installed one like this, without the metal brace.

Over the next year or so (35,000 miles ish), the unsupported area developed a concave shape and my 100,000 miles it looked so bad I swapped it back for the original which was so much more robust.
