2011 TDV8 Drivers door module programming

So i stupidly left my driver's window down in a rainstorm, and filled the driver's door control module with water. This meant i had the following issues

Window wouldn't close
door wouldn't lock or unlock with remote or button in centre
mirror wouldn't fold

I ordered a replacement with identical numbers on. Fitted it and now window goes up and down, but drivers side rear door doesn't lock neither does drives door and the car beeps upon locking to say door is open. Replaced module with another one and still have the same issues.

Upon discovering this i took my original apart and cleaned all the corrosion up on the board and reinstalled it. This fixed the window working but in now only goes down by 2 inches before you need to press switch again and then goes down another 2 inches, but drivers door mirror doesnt fold and door wont lock

Do the new replacement modules need to be programmed to the car if so how do i do this i have a IID tool

Many thanks in advance

Possibly water in the connectors or door lock?

After you fit one, try a battery disconnection, this may help to sort it, I had the window drop 2" at a time issue and it sorted that...

Then, as the manual says.....

Once the power supply is restored, reset the windows as follows:

Close the window fully.

Release the switch, then lift it to the close position. Hold for 2 seconds.

Release the switch.

Repeat the lift and release procedure twice more. (first time usually does the job)

Test the window for correct manual and automatic switch operation.

Repeat the procedure on each window. Pete

On my car 2012 TDV8 when the modules have been reset or power disconnected I have to use the GAP tool to re program the windows.

There is the option in calibration for the drivers window, when you run it it first does both the windows on one side, down and up then it does the other side.

give that a try and see if it resolves your issue. 2012 TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue
