A recalibration rather than a s/w update is required, which the GAP tool can initiate.

I did a software update through Gap, and a recalibration after.

I changed the fluid once. I will do the second swap this week. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

Jay, are you asking about what the fluid flush would solve, or what the firmware flash update would solve.

I dont know about the firmware update.
Fluid change would remove a judder from the transfer box which may be noticable if you pull away from standstill on a hard lock turn to the left or right ( say like pulling out a junction moderately fast ). You might notice a judder a bit like abs coming through the car when pulling away. New fluid goes a long way to fixing that. V8 or else ...

The firmware update should be done at the same time as the fluid change Thumbs Up
