Heater Box Replacement LR010840 2011 L322

Hi all

Due to my fan disintegrating I have been told I need a Heater box replacement for my 2011 Autobiography. Ouch. So far no local garages (Worcestershire) have managed to quote, except one at 36 hours £2,600, plus the part.
Does anyone know anywhere that might be willing to undertake this huge task? I am of course willing to travel.
Thanks Peter

As per my reply to your post on the 405 thread, if you are handy with a dremel this might save you a fair chunk of expensive change..

Thanks for the video. My problem is too much work, not enough time and winter coming.

I can well understand..

While not the same, my air recirculate flap/valve on my 405 broke where the stepper motor that locates the flap inserts into said valve.

It too requires a complete dash disassembly and removal of everything up front, dreadful thought having someone do that to my fattie, so I opted to undergo the repair myself, quite literally through a keyhole, without removal of the unit.

I am not small in frame, I did get the job done, it has been working accordingly for the last 2 or 3 years, but if it gives up once again I'll simply mechanically shut the valve as recirculate, permanently..!!
