Pretty easy to replace - fold up the rear seats and you'll see some holes in the carpet. Beneath are all the gubbins to the fuel tank. There's two round inserts to the tank.

Lots of people have had this problem including me, as already mentioned it’s usually the connector wires in the tank, simple to cut out the black Plastic connector and replace with bullet connectors. I would do it sooner rather than later as the car can think it’s running out of fuel and shut down the engine leaving you stranded ! |

My fuel gauge stopped working so yesterday i did the connector on the drivers side with some crimp connectors all working again now, Word of advise good idea to crimp wire at top first before cutting plug from lower wires as they can drop into the tank and be hard to find in the diesel (Dont ask how i know that ) |
