VDS issues

My 2011 supercharged is acting weird. It will lock the VDS shocks in full hard but not throw a fault on the dash. Happens pretty quickly after starting to drive. The ride is terrible.

I will hook it up to the SDD tool but need some where to start. Searching lead me to a Service bulletin I need to check the wiring under the front top caps but since it’s not actively throwing a fault I’m unsure.

Has anyone had issues like this before?

That's a new one - how can you tell it's full hard? Just the decrease in ride quality? 2012 Range Rover HSE | 2011 Range Rover Autobiography | 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged

Yes, very rough ride.

Found the wiring under the front caps destroyed and replaced the plugs and the ride is much improved.

Great to hear. Feels good to have something like that sorted. Literally and figuratively haha 2012 Range Rover HSE | 2011 Range Rover Autobiography | 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Bit of a thread going on with similar hard ride here.

I thought that if there were wire issues, it threw the Adaptive Dynamics error on the dash… maybe not always then?

I have no error showing, in fact, I had the error, wire was broken near the front strut, fixed it and ride is not rock solid, but not as compliant as it used to be….

We can get to the bottom of most things on this forum, but this issue is alluding a few of us….
