I've scoured the forum and the workshop manual and can't find the instructions for bonnet and latch (striker) adjustment. The workshop manual seems to just reference it.

I'm clearing up the jobs main dealer didn't do properly following accident damage and one of these is adjusting the bonnet correctly. Incredibly they quality passed the vehicle with missing bolts, a visibly wonky numberplate and still accident damaged splash guards AND the left side bonnet catch isn't even locked when driving along!

And on the right hand side, it's over-adjusted that I almost have to sit on the corner of the bonnet to force it down enough to latch.

Instructions for adjustment would be much appreciated because I don't trust the dealer to do a proper job. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

There are two rubber stoppers that screw into the top of the slam panel, you use these and the bonnet latches, there is a locknut that you spin down to allow adjustment on the latches, put a spanner through the spring to spin it, then the rubber stoppers give you the height of the bonnet and the catches are then adjusted with a slotted screwdriver in the pointed end so they latch when the bonnet is shut, it's just a matter of adjusting one and see what happens, it doesn't take much to get it sorted once all is lose and easy to move...  Pete

For whatever reason they'd fully extended the plastic foot and the latch on one side and adjusted the other.

All reset, took out the latches, cleaned them up, re-oiled the threads and re-greased the springs and strikers and re-fitted and now both sides are adjusted within 1mm and latching properly  2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

The job would have most likely been SC'd to a bodyshop, usually the one the insurance co. designates, the dealer would just be the customer interface.

My bonnet latches are all sorted now.

But yes, I also have one of my bonnet seals in that condition also. Will replace it when I see a cheap one on ebay. They're about £70 in the UK, which for a bit of rubber seems expensive. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

I only mentioned them because they are part of the laching efficiency and must be properly compressed to be efficient.
