Just for correctness, the engine has hydraulic lash adjusters that are located near the top of the head rather than hydraulic lifters which run in the block on a camshaft down lower in the engine on OHV (not OHC) engines. Any noise from lash adjusters should be from near the top. |

spot on vid see the muck that came out of that lifter . and as stated in the vid all stems from oil changes and the right oil being used these high-mile oil changes are no good if the wrong oil or more like cheep crap oil used new vehicle purchase

It’s being collected later as for oil I only use the best to correct spec from AF only genuine oil filters and changed every 6 k or six months going to do a flush of the oil I may run a few flushes to clean the crud out 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

i have come on to this post several times looking and waiting to see cam tech craig input on this matter and the master has spoken it must have been me this morning getting the mat out and pointing it towards the north that's because I live in Cornwall and getting on my knees as most of the forum members do on a Friday on this site and instead of saying god is great Allahu akbar we shout out cam-tech-craig we need help new vehicle purchase
