Depending on how the control valve is behaving, you'll get different symptoms. At the end of the day, the valve is basically a solenoid. It restricts flow into the evaporator. It can trap on either side of the system. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

The symptoms ‘are’ random functionality - one day it’s working and the next it can be pumping out hot air. Wanted mine fixed just for the summer holiday but also for winter where it’s necessary for demisting and dehumidifying. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
