Ambient Temp image (for posterity)

It's the first time I've seen the temp on an L322 saying 30deg in thirteen years of ownership. It was actually showing 31 before I got my phone out! This is Aberdeenshire today! Cool

Last time I recall seeing a thermometer showing 30deg in this neck of the woods was in 1976 and I was in the back of my dad's Ford Cortina!

I realise this isn't going to break any UK records, but it's fairly warm for here!

By contrast, the lowest temp I've seen on an L322 in my driveway was -18deg a few years ago! Shocked The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

Its -1 (feels like -6) here in Ulverstone Tasmania @ 0700hrs just now. Whistle
Those 40* temps are normal in summer in mainland OZ.

38c here today. I was in the office for most of the day, leaving just after 3pm to drive 160 miles to Chester. I remote started the engine 15mins before I left and it was a reasonable temperature inside (the solar windscreen does really seem to work), on with the cooled seats and within a few mins the fan had settled down and it was very comfortable. I’ve had cars with 4 zone aircon before, so the benefit of extra vents and more power in the rear, but this car is easily the best of the lot, some of which I think is down to having vents in the roof. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

It's late, I'm hot and tired so can't be bothered to look it up but is this feature of the later models I don't know about but would like? Chris

Thanks, I have the remote but didn't realise it could cool as well. I shall investigate. Chris

I’m sure it doesn’t turn on the AC or anything quite as good as that. But it will certainly air the car for you prior to your getting in…
More effective when the outside temperature is not as hot as it is right now! So, the other 362 days of the year it will work just fine sir… Whistle Whistle Whistle

Don't know about the LR version but the Jag InControl app for the iPace has 'Remote climate' - just set the temp you want and press Start. Works brilliantly. Don't know if I could get the key to do that though.
