If it's like a brake banjo bolt try tightening it up first. |

Thanks both. Got it in the air and got under and it was loose so managed to get a ratchet spanner on and tightened it up. The fluid reservoir was nearly empty but had some fluid and have topped it up. Tried to bleed it but still a bit of a whine from the pump but will try a more thorough bleed and hope the pump hasn't been run dry too long and it's broke. The whine did considerably reduce so suspect a little bit of air still on there.

If it is a banjo bolt that is the source of the leak, and the bolt is not loose, then the bolt may require new sealing washers, generally a copper sealing washer or a dowty seal ( metal washer with a rubber seal )

On mine I could get under there on drive up ramps and I got someone to carefully turn the wheel and could see the fluid coming out. There are two bolts next to each other with lines coming out. I needed to use a wobble head ratchet spanner and was able to get it on and tighten the leaking one up and so far so good since then. I topped up the fluid and turned the wheel full lock a few times to expel any air and that was it.
