Had put this job off for too long reasoning the rears don't do much work and there was still about 75% effective braking surface only to discover what was hiding on the other side. No trouble pulling them off the brake shoes as the rust was so bad. Used LR (Brembo Disks) and Delphi pads OS was easy to do and took my time to clean everything up. NS was a nightmare as the calliper was seized and needed a 12mm bolt and spreader plates to force it open. Also the inner slot in the carrier was narrower than the outer even after cleaning up the slot and plates and ended up having to file down the pad 'ear' to get a sliding fit. Previous pads were 'Brakefit' and the disks were OE. Going to replace both rear callipers and then do the fronts which have plenty of pad life and no rust but the disks are pretty worn and I'm not sure about having 'brakfit 'pads up front doing most of the work...... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
