Using the IIDTool I enabled the Timed Climate of my 2012 RR TDV8. With this setting in the CCF the Timed Climate option is now visible/selectable. I can set Timer 1 and 2, and experienced that the fan starts at the time set. Haven't experienced timed heater though.

Vent will not use the FBH at all…. The fans will come on to blow any hot air out the car, so when you open the door, it’s not really hot inside.

Heat uses the FBH to heat up a cold interior.

Not sure why they are greyed out.

Have you tried the buttons with the engine off?

As on mine (11MY), leave the "ignition" off and turn on the audio with the centre push button to the left of the centre screen.

home,

timed climate

and you should see the buttons come live.

In that scenario, the text of the 2 buttons 'manual heat' and manual vent' becomes white. But when pushing each briefly an orange border appears (indicate you touched the button), but in MHO not much happens. The orange led of the A/C (auto) switch below briefly lit once up as well as the fan briefly is activated but that it. The manual also doen't explain a lot about these 'manual' functions.

This function keeps me puzzled.
