Breaking height sensors is a popular pastime for Range Rovers, they do it with great regularity... Hence the number of ones for sale on eBay...

hi haylands i can remember reading some wear that someone took a long time but made them with rose joints and stainless steel

The originals last for years and don't cost a lot... I suppose if you're going to keep your fatty for ages it maybe worth it...
