4.4 TDV8 egr pipe into intake

4.4 TDV8 egr pipe into intake is there a gasket, when I was replacing my belts I noticed a large build up of gunk on the butterfly valve and the egr pipe so decided to clean it all up (what a mess) on refitting then now clean egr pipe into the throttle housing I noticed there was no gasket etc and it seemed a loose fit, I did put some liquid gasket on but should there have been a gasket there in the first place [/list] 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

There should be an o ring that sits just inside the housing, no gasket. Thumbs Up

I didn't find one in mine but perhaps I didn't dig deep enough in the recess. However I recall that the pipe felt as though it was pushing through a seal.

Not sure if this is your exact year ETC but if you look at the picture you can see where the O ring should fit. LR023038.
