I'm pretty sure you can usually take it to your local tip. What do I put here then? |

Don't forget to reset your service interval or the car's computer won't have a clue it's been done so oil dilution reading will continue to climb and cause warnings.

The price for the oil pump is a bit strong.

Smith and Allan oils are excellent and they are very helpful if you have any questions.

Oil reset L405 pop bonnet, leave driver door open, press full. Brake and accelerator pedals for 10 secs Oil filter 36mm socket required and 28nM torque. the 10L Draper is a dream and takes all your oil and fuel without having to empty and start again zero mess ![]() ![]() To read Oil level Simply pull the bonnet release, get in and press the start buttton (without your foot on the brake). Press "OK" to clear any warnings ( including'bonnet open' )- once they are clear, do the oil check as normal but when it comes up "unavailable" press 'cancel' on the cruise control twice - your oil level shows! 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue |

I have put several posts up showing oil change procedure for 4.4 tdV8 , mine is an L322, but your L405 is virtually identical.
