2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

Brake Pipe Cover on Near Side

There’s a cover that runs along the inside of the body on the underside of the near side of the car that covers the brake pipes as they run front to rear. I’ve circled it in this picture.

Cover:

The fixings for it are a black plastic fixing with a hex on the top of them, like the fixing in the middle of this plate.

The parts book shows the part number for the fixings to be this which looks nothing like the one above and nothing like the ones I removed from the car.

It’s just the bit in red I need:

Mine aren’t gripping when I’m putting them back on so I’m looking to replace them. Does anyone know if there’s a part number for the fixing or if I’ll need to buy the plate assembly above and remove them?

I was thinking about that last night but as I need to order a few bits anyway thought it would save me some time.

Ha…..yes I do David.
Drill I used is 4 mm hex key is 6 mm.
Dont make the hex to hot, just enough to meld in.
