Wind noise through drivers window.

Just picking brains if anyone would no a way to make the drivers window go up a bit more, i have had some wind noise coming in through the top of the window for some time and it seems like it needs to go up a touch more, i tried dropping it down them taking it back up and holding the up button for a cupple of extra seconds as i seem to have in mind i have seen that works somewhere before but no luck with that. Any info would be great. Thanks

I have the very same issue, but seemed to have fixed it by bending the top frame in towards the roof. Sounds harsh but it works….

Over the last few weeks, i have very carefullly wrapped a log in a towel, placed this on the base of the door frame, side step, wound the window fully down (drivers door) and then proceeded to place some gentle force on the top part of the door frame. Shocked
I have to admit its certainly working for me as the wind noise is greatly reduced, I just need a bit more adjustments to obtain the expected silence. Thumbs Up

Stephen

I had this when I first bought my L405 (used). It was just the door seal rubber drying out. I ragged on a bit of Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel, problem solved. Kev

Open the door and with the window down place your knee on the top of the door panel, your hands on the top of the frame and bend it inwards... Its remarkably easy to bend it inwards Thumbs Up
