Let us know how you got on. I want to install them myself too, and a casual browse of the interweb and the bay yielded Chinese copies for around £600, or genuine parts (all separate) for around £900 iirc.

I was going to ask on this forum for suggestions on where to source some, but was going to wait until it was time to buy.

Duckworths don’t supply them, so saves asking there!!! Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

I can't see a full set of genuine bits being available for anywhere near £900
A few years ago LR were selling off complete kits for a give away price that I can't remember now but £600 rings a bell so I bought one and fitted it.
I broke 1 mounting bracket and another one recently siezed so while looking for new ones rough prices are about £220 each x 4, motors £350 x 2, steps £75 x 2 then you still need the ECU plus wiring harness and anything else I've forgotten so I reckon it's more like £2K plus assuming you can still get everything.

I just had a look over eBay… and cannot find anything close to my fabled £900.

Either they’re no longer available… or I’m having a senior moment and talking utter bCensoredx!!!

At near £2k it’s a hard one to justify… Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

There was a brand new, complete set of steps on eBay recently that didn’t include the wiring loom or ECU that sold for around £1200.

When they do come up they sell quickly.

There’s one step with both brackets and the motors on Facebook Marketplace at the moment if you’re interested in trying to build a set.

Although you can no longer buy a kit from Land Rover, you can buy the parts separately to make a kit but it’s a very expensive way of doing it.

I had to look at the Chinese steps that were supposed to be JLR? keep your money in your pocket the loom will not fit car will not recognise the steps and the finish is rubbish you even have to put the rubber on the step? nice cardboard box though.

May be worth giving these guys a ring. I know they do them for the L405 but might have some to fit an L322

Thank you all for your responses I will give the Chinese copies a miss.

IGP just looked on your link, the price based on an L405 is a bit steep for me £1400 I would expect if they did supply them for an L322 they would be a similar price, I will have to keep an eye open for a used set, cheers. Also own a 1976 Land Rover 101 3.5 V8.

I contacted Pegasus to see if they did support the L322 for completeness of the thread they do not support L322, apparently with their system they can only get their signals to work with the 2013 and onwards. Also own a 1976 Land Rover 101 3.5 V8.

Annoyingly I could’ve sworn I saw them on Duckworths website at the weekend for about £300 but I can’t find them now.
Admittedly I had consumed a couple of sherries, which caused me to buy a Land Rover leather briefcase.
Might be worth a phone call though, just in case. 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀
2009 3.6 V8 (MY2010) - my first ever diesel! - now also gone Sad

Can i advise extreme caution about used mounting brackets. They are very difficult to lubricate properly and once they start to seize up they are more or less scrap.
They look as if they will dismantle to clean and lubricate but they don't
