L322 2005 Vogue, changed dip bulb but still not working

Hi Very Happy

I have the Xenon headlights on my L322 (PK05 OVJ), I have no dipped beam but do have a high beam, I have changed the bulb but its still not working.

I have an error code stating

LCM - Light check module
121 Right side low beam defective

Any advice welcome

Thanks
Denise

On a Td6 with Xenon headlights the headlight bulb is on all the time when headlights switched on. The dip beam function is achieved by dropping a shutter within the headlight in front of part of the bulb to block out part of the light thus achieving a dipped beam effect. On main beam the shutter is retracted to allow all the light from the bulb out.
From what you describe it seems the shutter has failed to operate for whatever reason.
Not had to do it myself yet but others have posted in the past about sorting the problem.

This might help,
