England 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Loire Blue

I have just replaced the half worn 21" scorpion verdes on my L405 with 22" scorpion zero all season (obviously on new wheels too) and was surprised how much quieter they are on the road. They have the PNCS foam inserts which I do not think my verdes had but the car is noticeably quieter. Paul

At the rate I’m getting through tyres at the moment they will run out of age before tread…… so in 2025 I’ll be getting some new Pirelli scorpion ecogreen zero megaquiet all season with studs…… There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I've fitted some 255/55/19 Zero LR spec and taken them for a 930 mile round trip, healthily loaded. Conditions were cool and wet -- sometimes very wet. The tyres are comfortable with neutral and compliant handling and are happy to stay on line at speed on motorway sweepers. The only drawback is that they can become flustered when hitting standing water. I experienced a flinch through the steering wheel as a driver, though they soon regain composure and once again as a passenger -- the same applied.

They are totally new and tyre pressures were checked from cold within a couple of hours in each instance.

Given the paucity of all season and winter options available to me during the festive period, I would same that I'm pleased with them and that they're a good tyre, based on experience thus far (which is representative of most of the conditions in which it's going to be driven).

Incidentally, the rims on the alloys are beginning to corrode and so one of the tyres loses pressure at a faster rate than the others. --------

Did more research over the holidays and still couldn't find a better all round tyre for the L322 than the Scorpions if you are mainly a road user and want an all year set of tyres for the UK. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Hi all

I replaced a mixed set of tyres in August and can say I am absolutely delighted with the Scorpion Verde All Season.

They are 275/40/22 and have given the car a sure footed feel, and I find the performance of them well balanced in the dry and wet, and are very quiet compared to the mixed set I had before. (Continental and Iota… Laughing ) Range Rover 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography
