I have just replaced the half worn 21" scorpion verdes on my L405 with 22" scorpion zero all season (obviously on new wheels too) and was surprised how much quieter they are on the road. They have the PNCS foam inserts which I do not think my verdes had but the car is noticeably quieter. Paul

I've fitted some 255/55/19 Zero LR spec and taken them for a 930 mile round trip, healthily loaded. Conditions were cool and wet -- sometimes very wet. The tyres are comfortable with neutral and compliant handling and are happy to stay on line at speed on motorway sweepers. The only drawback is that they can become flustered when hitting standing water. I experienced a flinch through the steering wheel as a driver, though they soon regain composure and once again as a passenger -- the same applied.

Did more research over the holidays and still couldn't find a better all round tyre for the L322 than the Scorpions if you are mainly a road user and want an all year set of tyres for the UK. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
