Hi all,

just replaced my AirCon compressor as it has been playing up this summer. so it would come on and freeze us all when external temp was cool and struggle to come on when it was hot and we wanted it cool. also we just got cold air there was no temp regulation.

So after a bit of research and a few calls it seems there is a electric valve thingy that fails this part is £80 i thought ooh thats a cheap fix. However after getting the car on the ramp it is clear you have to remove the AC compressor to change it, so i thought if we have to go to that effort i would replace the whole unit.

this job is now complete and i now have a fully functioning HAVAC system. So i can now set it to Auto and not get frozen which is very nice .

I have the old unit that as far as i understand just needs the new valve thingy and it will work a charm. If anyone would like it please message me i don't want anything for it just pay the postage
