Coolant Leak 4.4 TDV8

So odd one

My 2011 VSE has a coolant leak, it’s small and it’s not mixed with oil etc and the oil cooler pipes have been done in the last 2 years

No oil in the coolant, truck was parked a week while we used another car for a holiday, before that it had been used a fair bit while the other car was down for parts (thanks Subaru)

Jumped in it to low coolant warning, topped up and it seams to be loosing a dribble a day - JAS my local independent is booked up for ages - like months!

Any ideas? I will have to look over the weekend as with work its dark etc

Cheers

Remove the under trays and have a look if you can see coolant. Put newspaper under the engine after a drive and leave overnight to see if there is any staining in the morning. You don’t need a specialist Landrover garage to find a leak so if you don’t want to DIY take it to any competent mechanic. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Yep going to look at that on sat, I don’t trust half of the shops around this way - it’s just rubbish timing I have a chunk of my mba coursework to do in December- hoping I could push money into it to resolve it without to much faff

Wondering if there where any other odd things that go (like the cooler) that might put me ahead a bit

Most decent garages can do a coolant leak pressure test. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
