Given that my Sat Nav has packed up - maybe the aerial. Is it time I upgraded to CarPlay and hence use Waze for my Navigation I have started a dialogue with Unique Audio Designs and it seems this is the simplest option - it also just uses the GPS in my phone https://unique-ad.co.uk/product/wireless-a...port-l494/

Right, I'll sit on my hands for the time being, I'll have a look what my lads looks like in his Audi. Interestingly the Sat Nav in a 2014 Audi is no better than the much maligned Sat Nav in a FF of the same age. However, they did have to stick on a film to get touch screen functionality although we already have it he (son) says he prefers to use the Audi MMI joystick thingy to select stuff.

Now I've had the other thread pointed out to me I'll use that, but just to respond to Craig - sometime next year I'll need a service, MOT, some bits doing a gearbox oil change and just maybe a CarPlay upgrade and I reckon holidays abroad will still not be straightforward so a week in the Cotswolds doesn't seem such a bad idea. mmmmm. I wonder what part of Audi RS4 they didn't understand - particularly as they fitted it. I only offer my opinion up as a caveat emptor. I'll be steering clear, 600 quid on the off chance it might be better in my Range Rover, 600 quid on the off chance that their after sales might be better.

Guys, just to give you a quick update… The CarPlay system mated to the RR system is fantastic, I’m very happy BUT! I do have a small concern I want to speak to their tech team about before I move forward with further updates? I hope that makes sense?
