My partners dad has a 50" LED television and the picture qualty is superb. We have not had our TV that long so its hard to justify us replacing, but thats the route I will go. I did suggest a 50" LED TV for the bedroom but got told no! Reformed |

Just before Christmas I bought a 42" LED Samsung for my bedroom, superb picture, very sharp and loads of depth to it, rubbish sound from the tiny flat speakers due to the TV being so thin. I ended up using a set of speakers plugged into the headphone output which was okbut eventually put the sound through a B&W Zeppelin Air. 2006 Mercedes CLS

It's difficult to beat those LED ones. I bought a 40" HD Samsung one for my daughter recently from PRC Direct it arrived next day and is stunning. I've got an 50" Panasonic Plasma bought back in the day when such tellies were £5k and were only 720p (Sky HD is only 720p so it's no big deal) that also still get admiring comments from visitors but I think we NEED a projector (Missis thinks we need the house decorating and she still hasn't forgiven me for buying the RR but I know she likes sitting up there like the queen) but nevertheless I suspect I'll be buying wallpaper this weekend Geoff |

I've got a 40 LCD in the bedroom and a 50 plasma downstairs. Nothing in it as far as pic quality goes. The 50 is great for call of duty!
