I've been told on many occasions we just have to live with this problem. Mine does it - and I wonder how much this goes towards filling up the rear light clusters with rain water, so we have to drill a tiny hole in cluster lower corner to act as a drainage outlet. The gully area at the top of hatch seems to amass rainwater - but looks fairly lubed up/coated to deal with taking on the roll of a small swimming pool... hopefully! Shocked

Bloody annoying though...

I got soaked the first few times it happened... Big Cry

I don't understand the light clusters are on the outside body edges and they are fully sealed .
The channel beside the lights run the rain water to the bottom of lower tailgate, but this is outside of the tailgate body seal.
So Iam confused how you are getting water in your lights.
There is little bit of water that drips off the upper tailgate seals when open but only small amount.
The upper tailgate is one plastic moulded piece with only couple of holes in the top edge for wiring and camera wash water hose.
Maybe check the seals around these, this might be your problem, if water a lot of is coming out of your upper tailgate.
But no water should be coming out of you lights.

Sorry if I dropped in on the wrong category of RR - the problem seems to be a regular generic one though. I think the light cluster (well L322 anyways) join seals open up sometimes, and rainwater ingress is soon becoming. My silicone reseal didn't work.
