Is there any way to change the speedometer from MPH to KPH? Would have been really useful on my recent trip to France.

you can also keep the digital display as mph to correspond to the main kph speedo. ... - .- -.

I didn't realise you could change the main display - I always just change the digital readout to kph.

Change your high beam assist side at the same time - and your clock - my 3 jobs for the tunnel crossing

OK had a look at the display settings menu and all I have is off road view and torchlight effect, no other options. Nor do I have the digital speed display at the centre bottom of the dash like on my wife's Freelander 2. Am wondering if something needs to be activated using an IID tool.

Menu button on the steering wheel ?

Then a menu appears in the middle of the dash, then Instrument display....

Yes, it's the same with the engine running. Will have a poke around with my IID tool over the weekend to see if something has been disabled.

Ivan, your car is a launch spec 2012 build (it has blue rings around the speedo) yours uses the Range Rover logo in the centre of the binnacle, yes?

Alistair, yours is a 13.5/14MY (silver rings around the speedo) yours uses a Land Rover oval badge in the centre of the binnacle, yes?

So, the can-bus on the early model did NOT include the electronic speedo... "I believe it was not finished in time for the release of the 405!" so, there you have it... If you have blue rings and the Range Rover lettering then you wont & cannot use this function... Sorry

Thanks very much for the explanation. I just know my car was registered in March 2013 so didn't realise it was a 2012 specification. Would a software update be able to provide the later menu?

I was wondering about those blue rings & where that was on the settings - had made a note to myself to look for that, but sounds like a feature that can't be changed.

Ivan, alas the canbus on your cars binnacle is different to that of Alistairs car so as far as I know there is NOT a software update to allow this to happen! Changing the binnacle’s could be an option? Maybe? Don’t know anyone who wants to go to that much work/expense to try sir…

I have been right through this with GAP back 3-4yrs ago and couldn’t do anything sorry sir…
