Satnav won't set to north on maps!!!

Hi guys,
Emergency one this - going away tomorrow!
I have a MY2011 4.4 Vogue. I prefer to have the satnav main map set to show due North, but since getting it earlier this year I can't switch it from the car direction (compass swinging) setting?
The handbook says you can 'toggle' between the two using the touch screen but mine is stuck!
Can anyone help please???

Hi Stan,
Yes you have hit the nail on the head, any chance of coming round and hitting my sat nav on the head?
Yes, 'toggled' that compass icon but no change, likewise with voice control - no matter how loud I shouted at it!
I have set up the right hand screen to show north so I can use that as the main nav aid.
If that fails I will stop, pull up a small tree and give the car a damn good thrashing!
Ron Thumbs Up
