L322 2006 Vogue AJV8.

At some point when the car was raised for a replacement starter motor, the ride height sensor snapped. The arm sits vertically and the connection between that and the swing arm at the base became disconnected. The initial indicator was that the OSF was sat alone at the raised height.

I superglued the two broken ends together (see photo) but after testing the different heights, the entire system has been deflated and is riding on the bump stops.

Try disconnecting your battery and see if it resets 2010 tdv8 vogue se, Buckingham Blue

Did you clear the faults, suspension faults tend to be hard faults and will only reset with a diagnostic tool.

Change the sensor as a glued one won't last long anyway, the plastic gets brittle with age...

Then reset faults and see what happens...  Pete

I disconnected the battery with initial success. However, it is clear that there is a leak from the osf air bag.

I've ordered a replacement used height level sensor from Gentlemen of Salvage. We'll fit it and take it from there, hopefully the replacement will calibrate correctly (perhaps after a reset by disconnecting the battery) and resume correct function. --------
