No one had this before 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

most anomalies like this tend to be battery related...the battery has a string of ecu's to power up when starting and if the voltage is a bit low then some dont get triggered and bypassed.

Mines hardly ever worked since I got it 2 year ago. Never bothered me but I can only guess maybe it's just a loose connection of electrical conduction for the red light I guess |

Don’t think it’s battery related as the car had been on a long run so fully charged 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

I’ve had the same issue for the 3 years I’ve had it, on two occasions when all of the sudden it does light up and work which has been twice in 3 years the rear heated seats start to work ! Someone mentioned that the gear indicator is wired through the fuse for the rear gates seats so I’m guessing it’s a short somewhere. It’s not too difficult to take the centre console off and check for loose wires. Have you checked if your rear heated seats still work when the gear indicator goes off ? |
