Suspension fault 30mph

Good morning all, im new to the site and new to Range Rovers so im hoping to find a few answers here, i have recently inherited an unloved RR 3.6 V8 150k with lots of faults that i know of and more im due to find whilst fixing things....

So whilst driving it, it intermittently flashes up a "Suspension fault", sometimes nothing happens, apart from it saying there's a fault, other times it goes into limp mode saying speed limited to 30mph. All i do at present is pull over turn the ignition off and back on, and it seems to clear the fault. I have an Autel MK808 and when ive ran a diagnostic it comes up with.....

C1130-7A Intermittent Air supply of air spring
C1130-66 Intermittent Air supply of air spring

Ive had a nosey around online and i think it might be the Air compressor in the boot, but im not sure so any advice will be great fully recieved.

Other jobs to do are SRS Air bags light on, i think this is the drivers side (female) seat belt buckle, the previous owner spilt a full Starbucks coffee over the seat and thats when it came on, plus the heated seat doesnt work either so am assuming that the coffee has probably affected this too..

Satnav shows the position as somewhere in the sea, so ive got a new GPS locator and i intend to take the sharks fin off and replace the gps sensor.

The remote running boards don't deploy anymore and again the previous owner said he hit a rock and since then it keeps blowing a fuse when he tried to deploy them, so il have a good look at them at some point.

Oil change to the gearbox, so il go online and get everything i need and drain it.

Then the biggest job...It needs a new tailgate!! So I've sourced a donor tailgate in the same colour and intend to cut and resolder all the wires and fit it to the car. Big Cry

Im sure i shall find more, so any advice please feel free to leave it.....

Regards
Tiprat.

You pull the loom through on the tailgates, no need to cut anything... Thumbs Up

If you plan on doing the work yourself you need a dedicated diagnostic tool, the favoured one being the Gap IID tool, it will give you more information and help diagnose what part of the suspension is failing...

Make sure you use the correct oil in the gearbox, not a Dexron equivalent... Pete

Thank you very much Pete for the reply, firstly I use the Autel because I use it on all my other jobs that I do for family and friends.
As for the tailgate, I didn't think the loom pulled out having watched a utube video it says the loom is held in with clips. Is this not correct? I'm guessing not, is it an easy job to pull the loom through ect?

Thank you for the heads up about the gearbox oil I shall make sure I get the right stuff.

Regards
Tiprat.

the deployable side steps sieze up whether you hit a rock or not - not much you can do with them except bin them unfortunately.

utterly crap design. 2010 VSE [Roger]

Put it this way, they don't fit the loom then weld the tailgate together, so, whatever they have done can be undone and redone...

There are very small Co-ax leads going to your central locking aerial that are very difficult to join after cutting, and IIRC there are some can bus type leads and you can ruin them very easily... Thumbs Up Pete
